Trolleys & Ropes Course Pulleys

Although the explosion in interest in ropes courses is a relatively recent occurence, ropes courses have been around in one form or another almost as long as rope has been around! Since our beginning, CMI has supported the development and advancement of technology in the ropes course industry.

We believe that the only safe braking system for a zipline is one that is gravity based.  In our experience mechanical braking systems are inherently dangerous.  Gravity never fails; mechanical systems do.  CMI does not sell products designed for mechanical braking systems nor does it condone inclusion of any of its products in such systems.  CMI accepts no responsibility for damage or injury due to inclusion of any of its products in mechanical zipline braking systems.
